Sorry I haven’t really been posting. Last week was a particular kick to the ass. Last week my truck was vandalized and I lost my job. It was a real pain in the ass and today is my first day back to the gym.
My truck had the connection between the gas cap and the gas tank cut into. They also lowered my gas tank and well it was just a damn mess. Took me 3 days to get my truck back and I still have to take it back because a sensor is off. Luckily the sensor is covered by my warranty, but the gas tank issue wasn’t. So that was $500 down the drain.
For those that don’t know, I’ve been working from home the last 6 months. It’s been nice making up my own hours. However the company had some changes, including a new CEO. I live about 1.5hr away from where my job was at and I’d only go into the office once a week. Well they wanted me to move and I’m not ready to commit to that. So I was paid out and that’s the end of my job.
Bleh… I don’t care really. I’ll find another job, but I probably won’t find one working from home. Also because of the timing in the year with holidays coming up, It’ll probably be a little harder to find another 6-figure salary right now. It just happened all at once and I was pretty pissed.
Anyways that’s why I’ve had a lack of posts. My bad… I’ll try to get back on it and give you guys something to like. For now, I’m out! Gym time.
I was up at 5 and in the gym around 6:30am. Had a push day and got in some cardio. Was home by 8am to walk the dog, kiss the GF bye as she left for work. I got in a few things I needed to do for my afternoon meeting and just woke up from a nice 30min. nap.
Feels good to work from home! Just saying…
